How do the sessions work?

Joanne will work with you via video sessions or in your own home and in the places where you regularly exercise and walk your dog, this after all is where you need the help. Dog training classes are not always as affective or beneficial to dogs as we would like, they can be stressful for some dogs, cause further behaviour problems and what your dog has learnt in a confined class situation, is not always easy to transfer to where you regularly walk or exercise your dog. With one to one sessions you get the full attention of a trainer who can tailor the training to your specific dogs needs whether that is via a video session or getting to work with you in your local area providing advice and training on dealing with real life situations.

Can this really be carried out by Telephone or Video?

This solution works really well, I can advise and teach everything that I would in person. If you have issues with your dogs behaviour outside the home even though I might not be there in person, I will discuss what you need to work on specifically and how to do this in the real world, even on my home visit the initial session is about you learning the training and proofing the behaviour before pairing in the areas you are struggling. Other benefits from this kind of session is that some dogs act differently when you have visitors, therefore remotely observing your dogs behaviour allows me to really see what is going on.  This service has been set up for everyone that needs help no matter where you are based UK or abroad. I can provide advice using different media: Telephone, Whatsapp, FaceTime, Skype, Zoom and more. I am flexible with technology and can use whatever method best suits you. This facility also can offer cost savings due to removing the need for time for my travel to you.

How does payment work?

The price shown for home visits is within a 20 mile radius of HA4 6UD. If you live further away please call for a quote for your area.

How you pay for home visits: We do not expect full payment upfront, we just take a non refundable booking fee of £45 to secure your appointment with Jo Hinds, you then pay the remainder on the day of the consultation/session

Telephone/Video Sessions: Payment is taken in advance for by bank transfer or paypal for the appointment to be confirmed.
